About Public Health

The Yates County Public Health Department protects and promotes the health of all county residents. The department provides immunizations, health education, disease surveillance, environmental health inspections, home health services, and emergency preparedness planning. Public Health also administers the Early Intervention and Preschool Special Education programs.
