What Is Being Proposed?

A developer has proposed annexing the McFetridge Farm property — located on Route 14A in the Town of Milo — into the Village of Penn Yan, and constructing approximately 500 units of housing on the site.

The proposal would require:

  1. Annexation of the land from the Town of Milo into the Village of Penn Yan under NYS General Municipal Law Article 17;
  2. Rezoning of the property to permit high-density residential development; and
  3. Connection to the village's water, sewer, and electric systems.

The Penn Yan Planning Board is the Lead Agency for SEQRA review.
